e-NABLE Enabling the Future

The e-NABLE Community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world, who are using their 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device.

The e-NABLE Community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world, who are using their 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device.

They are people who have put aside their political, religious, cultural and personal differences to come together and collaborate on ways to help improve the open source 3D printable designs for hands and arms, for those who were born missing fingers or who have lost them due to war, disease or natural disaster.

The e-NABLE Community is made up of teachers, students, engineers, scientists, medical professionals, tinkerers, designers, parents, children, scout troops, artists, philanthropists, dreamers, coders, makers and everyday people who just want to make a difference and help to “Give The World A Helping Hand.”

Steve

After Drew built a hand for Stephen, Stephen decided to become a volunteer himself.

We collaborate on recipient build and work on developing and improving the devices that are on offer.

This Blog aims to track our work and provide reference to any other people interested in 3D printed assistive devices.

Be sure to check out our Recipient page and also our Hero’s page for more information on our work. We will be adding more content to this blog as and when we get time .

We hope that our work can raise awareness and help progress the development of 3D printed assistive devices for the benefit for all.

All the work we do is voluntary and recipient devices are provided for free, we fund the work ourselves and commit our own time to this cause.

Please support us by spreading the word of the work we do, like and share our Facebook page.  If you can make us a donation that would be awesome. Your donations will help us to continue doing what we love, giving the world a helping hand.

Drew and Stephen.
