Donations Page – 3D4 Hands

This is the donations page for ‘3D4 Hands’, a charity that is helping to provide free 3D printed assistive hands for children and adults around the world; linking technology, people and need.

This is the donations page for 3D4 Hands and this is the first image of our very first test hand 3D Printed by Tony Sowden (3D4 Hands - Menber)

Our aim is to orgainise and coordinate a group of members that are able to provide for the charity, their expertise, skills and time to produce low cost 3D printed prosthetic hands & arms for those in need.

We need to engage the help of Engineers, 3D Designers, 3D Printer owners and all manner of other people that can give their time and skills to help in this quest.

If you would like to help with either your time, skill, expertise or 3D Printing kit then please contact us.

Gift Aid

How it works – Donating through Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, it will come from HM Revenue & Customs as a free contribution. It won’t cost you any extra.

Note – For a charity to claim Gift Aid on your donation, you must have paid UK Income or Capital Gains Tax that financial year. The tax you pay must be equivalent to the amount of Gift Aid the charity will reclaim on your donation that tax year.

Banking Charges

Barclays Bank – Due to the status of the 3D4 Hands Charity bank account no bank fees are charged by Barclays Bank for the operation of the account.

BT MyDonate – BT do not charge set up fees or commission for donations, all of the money goes straight to the charity apart from the fees charged by the card companies (a 15p flat rate fee for a debit card transaction of any size or a 1.3% credit card charge)
